Surveys - As online income |
Surveys have always been a bedrock of any company's arsenal to gauge the level of performance and the satisfaction of their customer base, with the onset of the Internet the inconvenience of filling in surveys can be drastically reduced, and as the Internet attracted more companies online, equally surveys have become a great source of online income, and are the first port of call for many individuals wanting to venture into the world wide web performing Internet marketing.
The Internet has made it a viable opportunity for many stay at home moms, students, retired and unemplo[censored] people to become an entrepreneur of sorts, by conquering niches which up until a few years ago they wouldn't have stood a chance against the conglomerate of international companies and organisations. Not only has the playing field been drastically reduced pitting the ordinary Joe against a well established multinational, it has also brought companies and organisations into a more direct relationship with their customer and consumer database.
Prior to the Internet if a company wanted to reach its audience, it would have to take out a very expensive advertisement, either via television, radio, newspaper or magazine, such considerable initial costs have been the bane of many flourishing businesses before they could set their foot on the ground. Now however companies can target specific consumer related surveys directly at their customer base, finding out precisely what it is their customers seek, and how best they can adapt to fulfil their needs.
As you can imagine, many companies who previously had to dish out expensive advertisements via news papers, magazines, TV and radio to reach their target audiences, who may or may not have responded well to their products or services, are ready to jump on the opportunity of reaching their intended audience directly cutting out the middlemen of the previous platforms of traditional advertising, and at the same time saving on the potential huge costs that would have gone into these advertising media. The money that would have gone into the previous advertising placements is now suitably placed to be used to entice their consumer base, and so are willing to compensate these individuals from their consumer base, who have taken the time out of their schedules, be it for ten minutes or more to take part in focused surveys and other related polls; that can aide the company in streamlining its products and services to the specific requirements of its consumer base.
The surveys are usually delivered to the recipient's email address, and sometimes the recipient is made aware via email that there is a survey they may be interested in, and or suitable for.
Unfortunately many companies and organisations have specific requirements for recipients to be suitable for their product and or service before allowing the recipient access to the survey, where on successful completion they would be paid. This is the most frustrating part of getting paid via online surveys because although a generic email might be sent to all recipients that they may be suitable for a particular survey, the company might restrict further access onto the survey in terms of geographical location, age and other criteria.
